City of Charlestown

The construction of a new multipurpose building in Greenway Park will enhance the usefulness of the park and allow for more organized activities to be held. The building – set to be completed for Founder’s Day, June 26-27 – was built largely with Department of Corrections labor, said Dave Flow, executive director.

The City of Charlestown and the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce are set to co-sponsor a business summit to be held May 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the Arts and Enrichment Center, located at 999 Water Street.
