Please note:  For all outdoor activities listed below, rain, snow and/or below freezing temperatures cancel events unless otherwise notified.  Also, participants are advised to wear bright and/or reflective attire when running, walking, cycling, etc., outdoors.  

CAUTION:  If you are just beginning an exercise regimen, please keep in mind that you are likely to experience muscle soreness after participating in exercise activities.  It is important that you warm-up your muscles with a low-intensity walk followed by some light stretching.  It is equally important to stretch after the activity, as well as in the days following the activity.  Please know your limitations and pace yourself during this process

Get Movin’ Boot Camps (Begins: 10/11/08   Ends: 12/20/08)

 These FREE beginner-level fitness boot camps will be held in Greenway Park.  (Please refer to schedule below for details.)  Anyone age 7 and up may participate.  All participants will be required to complete a Participant Agreement Form before performing any form of exercise while at these boot camps.  Minors must have a signed Participant Agreement Form by his/her parent or guardian.  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult who will be participating in the boot camp.  (No spectators please.)  To obtain a copy of the Participant Agreement Form, please download and print one below, or pick one up at City Hall during regular business hours.

Activities will be planned by a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) based on the assumption that participants lead relatively inactive lifestyles. Please note: These instructors are conducting the boot camps voluntarily.
