Information about Wee Ones....
The School for Wee Ones opened its door to pre-school
education in 1974. Founder, Lonnie Breeding, who was a retired
teacher and Principal felt there was a need for early and is best
known for its wonderful phonics program. The school was to teach
preschoolers the basics they would need to know once in Elementary
School with an emphasis on phonics, social skills and self discipline.
The Children will enjoy many group activities as well
as such things as music, exercise and story time. They work on
crafts, coloring, painting, writing and tracing. They will be
learning to print their name, counting, numbers, shapes, and of
course, they enjoy playtime, where they are learning to make new
friends, share and work on social skills.
The older class will go on local field trips and all
students will enjoy visits from local community helpers and
participant in community outreach projects throughout the school year.
