Now serving her third term, Donna Coomer takes pride in serving the people of Charlestown as the city’s clerk treasurer. Coomer is an Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk. As clerk treasurer, Coomer is responsible for all city funds, minutes for City Council and Board of Public Works meetings, legal notices, budgets, ordinances and resolutions, all revenues and all expenditures made by the city.

A lifelong resident of Charlestown, Coomer is the co-founder of the Charlestown Beautification Committee and the current chair. She is a member of the Indiana League of Municipal Clerk Treasurers and mentors new members. She has served as a district director for the ILMCT for the last six years.
