What Can Be Expected After Clearitas is Added?
A rigorous flushing schedule is essential to the project’s effectiveness. Two weeks after introducing the product, a total system flush will be performed. This flushing will take several days to cover the entire system. Subsequent flushings will occur every five weeks for the remainder of the first quarter, then decrease to once every quarter for the remainder of the year.
This schedule may be adjusted as necessary depending on product performance and other indicators.
Two short-term effects are expected to occur after the product is added:
- Occurrences of discolored water may increase during the early stages as the product works to remove the manganese deposits.
- Chlorine levels may increase as a by-product of the process and may require periodic adjustments.
