Media & Communications

The media and communications department is the point of contact in regards to city operations and government issues. Responsibilities include ensuring transparency to the public and local media. The office is responsible for the city’s website, social media accounts, bi-monthly newsletter, digital LED boards (Market Street and Family Activities Park), press releases, and broadcast of the city’s meetings within its government body.

Presenting information to the public and media involves working with the mayor, members of various councils, commissions and internal city departments.
