The City of Charlestown is pleased to announce the return of Community Days, an eclectic music, food, and vendor festival held at the City Square on Friday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022.

A colorful fireworks display over Charlestown on Sept. 17 highlights the event, presented by Champion Sponsor, NB Develop. The Mad Taxpayers headline the event, performing rock and roll hits around 9 p.m. with fireworks filling the sky beyond the stage.

Visitors will instantly notice the redesigned city square, adding seating, sidewalks, and landscaping to show off Charlestown's charm and beauty. The event encourages long-time residents, new residents, and our regional neighbors to join in two days of community fun.

On Friday, Sept. 16, vendor booths open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 6 p.m. (Willis Tucker Band). Friday's headliner is The Fabulous Hickbilly's, performing from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 17, vendor booths open at 10 a.m. A busy music day begins with an acoustic showcase for musicians from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The schedule continues with Audrey Tucker (11:30-noon), Paul Boggs Band (12:30-2 p.m.), Weekend @ Bernie's (2:30-4 p.m.), Dangerous Ally (4:30-6 p.m.), The Skinny (6-8 p.m.), and The Mad Taxpayers (8:30-11 p.m.).

Vendors range from local artists, photographers, craft makers, bakers, civic groups, businesses, and more. A full list of food vendors will be released in the coming weeks.

Attendees can enjoy kids' activities and play corn hole as well. The family-friendly event is free.
