Beyond the Village is primarily a special needs support group offering helpful resources and a listening space for caregivers. Kids are welcome to attend too!

The Center for Women and Families, in partnership with Indiana University Southeast, is hosting a panel discussion designed to raise awareness about resources for recovery and lift voices to end victim blaming.

Cheers for Charity is a fundraising event for The Center for Women and Families, hosted at Fistful of Ale in New Albany. Enjoy music from local bands and support local jewelers, painters, and other artists at vendor booths. A portion of proceeds from in-house sales will be donated to The Center.

Norton Children’s is dreaming big for kids, and we want your voice at the center of what comes next. We’re planning a new care campus and a second dedicated pediatric hospital in Jeffersontown, KY, to serve children from across Southern Indiana, Kentucky and beyond. It will be a place where medicine, compassion and community come together — a hospital when you need it and a village of hope when you need more. We’re coming to Jeffersonville, Indiana, to listen, learn and gather ideas directly from your community. Your voice will help shape the campus around real families, real needs and real dreams.

Southern Indiana Works is hosting a Talent Tuesday Hiring Event on Tuesday, April 21 from 11 AM-1 PM at the WorkOne Career Center in New Albany. There will be multiple participating employers and community partners. Veterans are encouraged to attend.

Help us plant 300 tree seedlings in Charlestown! On Earth Day, stop by the Charlestown City Square Gazebo to pick up a FREE tree seedling with instruction on plant care. Limit one seedling per person and trees will be available while supplies last, starting at 8 a.m. Tree Species: 🌱 Persimmon 🌱 Pin Oak 🌱 Tulip Tree seedlings are provided via Vallonia Nursery.

The Harrison and Ernie Rod Run takes place on the Charlestown City Square from 5 p.m. until you go home! Come out to see vehicles of all makes and models.
